As some of you may or may not know Audrey wore a red dress on their first date, and Graham dedicated the song 'Lady in Red' to Audrey.

Bring a photo
The family are putting together an album of photos to remember the day and Graham's 80 years. Could we please ask that you bring a photo (it can be of Graham or of yourselves) that brings you fond memories. Please can you write a little about the photo and put it in an envelope.
If you do not wish to part with the photo a copy or scan will be great.
If you do not have a photo please could you share a memory - maybe of how you first met.

The nearby Dunchurch Park Hotel ( tel. 01788 810656 ) has granted a special rate of £55 per room if you book under reference 406327.
We have arranged a shuttle bus to operate at 2pm for arrivals and from 10pm for departures to the hotel.
We are asking that all guest park here for the party and make use of the shuttle bus as parking on site is very limited.
Message from Graham
On Saturday, 3rd October, 2020 I hope to celebrate my 80th Birthday which is due on the 7th October. ..
This of course assumes that the recent “lockdown” will not happen again.
Party details are included in the attached invitation which have been sent to 150 family and close friends.
I have invited “Elvis Presley” to take us all back to playtime memories for those who enjoyed the FABULOUS FIFTIES
and those who have joined us since then.
I have very fond memories of Southend and the friends I met during my time at Southend High School (1951-58).
This was followed by years of cricket and football with the many Old Southendians who I shall never forget.
My family has grown out of control since I married my lovely Audrey in 1962.
At today’s count, we have a son and 4 daughters, 10 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren !!!!!
Audrey’s 4 brothers and 4 sisters and all their children add to the pleasure of a close large family.
My career with Ford Motor Company spanned 10 years from 1967 – 1976 when I started my own business.
During this time, I made the move from Southend to Rugby. I still keep my eye on new business opportunities.
I have lived for 32 years in this home which has developed from a farmhouse and three barns.
I hope you can join us in a time when sensible “social distancing” will still allow us to spend a wonderful day together.
